KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 14 — The High Court has dismissed an application by former attorney-general (AG) Tan Sri Tommy Thomas to recuse Judge Roz Mawar Rozain from hearing the defamation suit filed by Tan Sri Shahrir Ab Samad against him and three others over alleged malicious prosecution.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 29 — Former attorney-general Tan Sri Tommy Thomas has filed an application for Judicial Commissioner Roz Mawar Rozain to recuse herself from presiding over the civil suit filed by Tan Sri Shahrir Ab Samad against him and three others for malicious prosecution.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 22 — Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak told the High Court here today that he was not prepared to testify in the trial of Tan Sri Shahrir Ab Samad, who is facing charges of failing to declare RM1 million allegedly received from him, without the presence of his lawyer.
